Every so often I get amused by the polylingual nature of everything here.

For example, to install the cable modem, the instructions in French and German were the same, but different from the ones in English or Italian, including diagrams. And today, the list of things required for a discounted annual travel ticket is different in each language too, English different from German, in turn different from French and Italian, which were the same. I am opting to prepare myself for the maximum amount of documentary evidence according to all versions. Which means I can't do it today as I am two pieces of paper short.

Went to the gym again. Owie, but not as bad as last time. I guess it is working then, so soon it will be time to step up the non-strength stuff to shrink myself by about 5kg and improve general fitness.

Yesterday was storecupboard food. Linguine with pangritata (breadcrumbs fried in olive oil, with an anchovy or two and some thyme mixed through and then dressed with lemon juice). Tasty, lazy food. Today I need to use up the leftover anchovies so I'm thinking salsa verde with something. Not that wild about little bits of lamb, so probably some fish. And some greenery for healthier eating.

all that food talk, then I cried when you said "Not that wild about little bits of lamb". I don't know if I can love you anymore...

There 'borg. No chance of you feeling stalkerish now.

Keep telling yourself that. by Merekat (2.00 / 0) #2 Wed May 07, 2008 at 03:06:38 AM EST
As it happens, lamb kebabs (the type on a skewer, not sliced off a rotating thingy) were on special, so I did have little bits of lamb, grilled medium on the pan so it would get some flavour by being seared.

Ooooooo... So good. by greyrat (2.00 / 0) #3 Wed May 07, 2008 at 07:46:19 AM EST
Sadly, I rarely get to eat lamb. It's not too common here even with Jews running the major grocery chains. It's probably just as well, I'd be way over my current weight otherwise.
